CLEVERer

His music played a huge role in my childhood. I had EVERY SINGLE ALBUM he released on cassette tape. I saw him in concert and got to meet him and he autographed “Off the Deep End.” He put on such an amazing show!!!

Then ‘UHF.’ Are you fucking kidding me? That movie and ‘Bottle Rocket’ define my sense of humor. I will never forget watching it with my older and younger brothers and introducing new friends to it. I wore out two copies of it (VHS, wiki it you young weirdoes).

This came out of the blue. I feel so lucky. Just for this moment a hero from my childhood who has been nothing but nice, original, hilarious, and nothing but true to himself his whole career (just like I aspire to be) made me feel extra special again.

Incredible.
